If a mod gets removed from workshop for whetever reason it will be unaffected and back up on my /games DIR. Also if I goof something I have a complete backup I dont have to DL from a sever and wait 4 hours for my games and dlcs do download all over again before I spend another 4 hours getting my mods back in order. Also, helps with avoiding mod breaking updates from Steam.
